China's Box Office on Children's Day Surges 70 pct

Author:BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- China's box office revenue on June 1 soared to more than 358 million yuan (about 52 million U.S. dollars), up nearly 70 percent year on year, data from the China Movie Data Information Network show on Monday.
It crossed the mark of 300 million yuan for the first time on International Children's Day.
